INGREDIENTS
- 15 peppermint patties, frozen solid for 2 to 3 hours
- 1 bag Ms. Wong's Tempura Mix
- ½ cup ice-cold water
- 60 ounces vegetable oil, for a 6-quart pot
- Melted white chocolate
- Christmas-inspired food coloring
- Christmas sprinkles
Directions
STEP 1: Heat the Oil
Pour 2 to 3 inches of oil into a deep pot and heat it to 380°F.
STEP 2: Prep
Freeze the peppermint patties until solid, at least 2 to 3 hours. Set out the melted white chocolate, food coloring, and sprinkles.
⭐ Pro tip: The patties need to be frozen solid so the centers hold together in the hot oil.
STEP 3: Batter Up
Gently mix 1 bag Ms. Wong's Tempura Mix with ½ cup ice-cold water until just combined.
STEP 4: Fry Fearlessly
Coat each frozen patty in batter and carefully place it in the 380°F oil. Fry for about 60 seconds. Work in two batches.
STEP 5: Decorate
Dip each fried patty in the colored white chocolate and finish with Christmas sprinkles.

STEP 6: Serve & Enjoy
Serve while the shells are crispy and the peppermint centers are still warm.
